Fluoride’s ability to damage the brain has been proven over and over. There are over 300 studies have found that fluoride is a neurotoxin (a chemical that can damage the brain). This research includes:
•Over 100 animal studies showing that prolonged exposure to varying levels of fluoride can damage the brain, particularly when coupled with an iodine deficiency, or aluminum excess.
•51 human studies linking moderately high fluoride exposures with reduced intelligence.
•45 animal studies reporting that mice or rats ingesting fluoride have an impaired capacity to learn and/or remember.
•12 studies (7 human, 5 animal) linking fluoride with neurobehavioral deficits (e.g., impaired visual-spatial organization).
•3 human studies linking fluoride exposure with impaired fetal brain development.
1.) Fluoride is a neurotoxin
2.) Fluoride lowers IQ
3.) Fluoride contributes to Alzheimer’s and dementia
4.) Fluoride lowers thyroid function
5.) Fluoride causes nervous system degeneration
6.) Fluoride impairs the pineal gland
7.) Fluoride causes depression
Steps to correct the fluoride problem
1.) Stop consuming Fluoride
This is probably a no-brainer but consuming fluoride should be stopped. Swap out your toothpaste and look at fluoride filters for your home water supply. Drinking distilled or reverse osmosis water.
2.) Remove heavy metals from your body
In general, heavy metal toxicity can cause chronic degenerative diseases, the symptoms being mental disorders, pain in muscle and joints, gastrointestinal disorders, vision problems, chronic fatigue, and susceptibility to fungal infections and things like lyme/morgellons. Genotoxicity and cancers can also occur. Certain metals like aluminum bind specifically with fluoride and bio accumulate in the body and brain. Removing fluoride is one part of the process while detoxing from the metal accumulations is the other.
3.) Take Iodine
Fluoride binds with iodine receptors in the thyroid, displacing iodine…and when there isn’t adequate iodine available, the thyroid can’t synthesize thyroid hormones. That is bad news for your brain. Brain fog, memory loss, lack of focus, depression, anxiety, and other cognitive and mental health issues are some of the most problematic side effects of thyroid disorders.
Nascent iodine is iodine in atomic form, where regular iodine is in molecular form. Nascent iodine is what is produced by the thyroid gland and is absorbed easily by the body. This then helps to normalize the production of the T3 and T4 hormones and helps to balance metabolism within the body. Additionally, nascent iodine dramatically helps with the detoxification processes of the body as well. Nascent iodine is particular effective in supplying our body with the iodine it needs. In a person who has sufficient iodine, radioactive iodine cannot bind into our body and will be flushed out safely. However, it again is important to ensure the body is receiving enough absorbable iodine.
In numerous studies, iodine supplementation has been found to significantly increase in the urinary detoxification of both fluoride and bromide, thus taking a significant toxic load off the thyroid. In one study, only one day after supplementing with 50 mg of iodine, urinary excretion of bromide increased by nearly 50% and fluoride excretions increased by 78%.
