I can tell you I have been there, all snuggled up and completely buying into the insane illusions that are sold to us on a daily basis. But…deep down there is a part of us that always sees the reality for what it is. There’s a part of us that knows raising money for a disease charity, by eating foods that cause disease is insane. There’s a part of us that knows taking toxic medications and believing our health will improve is insane.
There’s a part of us that knows injecting poisons into children and hoping their immune systems function better is insane. There’s a part of us that knows repeating information in school, without question and believing we’re really smart because we’ve mastered repeating, is insane. There’s a part of us that knows no amount of alcohol will ever be good for us or solve any problem yet we drink anyway. When we continue along with the insanity because it’s easier, we’ll produce anxiety, depression, and a general sense of unhappiness. There will be an empty feeling inside our hearts that feels like we’re lost. Our body uses those emotional changes as signals to tell us to change our habits, beliefs, and thoughts.
So regardless of what we think we know, there’s a part of us that knows the vast majority of our society’s rituals aren’t based on any logical foundation and quite a large amount of our society is based upon some rituals that do qualify as insane and evil, like injecting poisons into children and calling it vaccination, killing people in other countries and telling ourselves it’s about democracy and freedom, and drinking alcohol and calling it the “good life.”
There’s a part of us that knows and processes this reality for what it really is, which is complete insanity. We would love to believe that our drinking, our smoking, our pain killers, our caffeine, our junk food and our self indulgences prevent this reality from affecting us but we’re only fooling ourselves. Our addiction based life is how this insanity affects us. Our disease and dysfunction are symptoms of us ignoring this reality.
Our addictions are equal to our need to escape that reality and therefore our insane society is in turn, driving all of us insane. So as we see this insanity and as we pretend it doesn’t exist, by us often developing passionate love affairs with either an addiction based lifestyle or a distraction based lifestyle…that part of our brain that needs us to take action just turns up the volume. This turning up the volume is how our body pushes back on us, to try and remind us to recognize the world for what it is and to remind us to try and do something about it, other than just eating something, taking a pill, or having a couple drinks down at the local bar.
Once we can see our reality as insane and when we’re brave enough to process that reality without running away from it, we can take the action we’re all supposed to be taking here on the planet. The action to push the insanity back into the darkness from where it came. Live in the insane reality, react intelligently to that insane reality, don’t sedate to it and the body will stop having to remind that person of their duty here on the planet. Illusions vs. reality. Those are the options….
