I should be clear about this statement: conventional pasteurized milk is not good for us.
The cattle used to create this milk are pumped full of hormones and antibiotics, all of which end up in the milk we are consuming — along with blood, puss, and fecal matter. The pasteurization process, moreover, destroys any beneficial enzymes within the milk. Not to mention that these dairy cows are virtually kept pregnant until retirement, without even having an opportunity for their calves to drink the milk that was made for them in the first place.
Oh, good old dairy! I’m sure you remember being a kid and having your mother tell you, Drink your milk! You need it to grow and be strong! Milk is not good but in a society based on repeating it is beyond difficult to get through the standard conditioning. This whole dairy façade began upon the premise that we need calcium, which we do, and that we can only get it through dairy products, which is false. There are a number of vegetables that contain even more calcium than milk, including broccoli, kale, cabbage, and watercress, along with a variety of nuts and seeds. But we never see ads on television telling us to eat our broccoli, even though it has many more health benefits than milk. Simply put, there is no lobbying behind broccoli.
There is absolutely ZERO data to support the claim that the consumption of dairy leads to better bones, weight loss, or improved health. However, some serious risks are tied to dairy consumption, including weight gain, increased cancer risk, and increased fracture risk. It turns out milk does not build strong bones! A study published in the Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine, revealed that milk DID NOT help to strengthen the bones of almost 80,000 people involved in the study over a 18 year period.
Milk has always been sold to the public as being a key factor in strong bones yet there is no evidence to show this to be true, but plenty of evidence to show how powerful corporate lobbying can be in shaping public opinion. Milk does not strengthen your bones, but instead makes them weaker. How? Simple, when milk enters your body it creates a VERY acidic environment in your body. Your body then releases calcium from the bones in order to help neutralize the acidic state. This allows us to easily see that milk in fact makes bones weaker and not stronger.
Children as young as 10 years old are now being diagnosed with heart disease and clogged arteries. Ever wonder how it happened? It’s due in part, I believe, to all the processed milk children are swallowing these days. Not only is the milk contaminated with pus, blood and detectable levels of pesticides and other chemicals, it’s also homogenized, meaning the fats are artificially modified in a way that makes them stay in suspension. This homogenization also makes milk fats dangerous to cardiovascular health.

A large study coming from researchers at the Uppsala University in Sweden found that drinking milk led to an increased mortality rate and actually made bones more prone to fracturing, not less.
Published in the peer reviewed British Medical Journal, it was specifically conducted to examine whether high milk consumption is associated with mortality and fractures in both men and women. The study concluded that high milk intake was associated with higher mortality in one cohort of women and in another cohort of men, and with higher fracture incidence in women, though it concluded that, “Given the observational study designs with the inherent possibility of residual confounding and reverse causation phenomena, a cautious interpretation of the results is recommended.”
Dairy contains some very allergenic proteins, such as casein, which can be problematic for many people. And to make matters worse, the casein that’s in our modern dairy, sourced from modern hybridized cows has been genetically altered, creating a much higher likelihood of inflammation, autoimmune disease, and even type 1 diabetes.
Pesticides in dairy are actually a big problem, and have been for a while. For example, not long ago a team of researchers in Hawaii tracked 450 men, which revealed a strong association between heptachlor (insecticide) and brain damage leading to Parkinson’s. Very high levels of the insecticide were found in milk in Hawaii during the 80’s. A team of researchers focused on an environmental scandal in Hawaii to study the association between the pesticide and Parkinson’s: In 1982, tests showed Hawaii’s milk supplies had abnormally high levels of heptachlor epoxide, an organochlorine pesticide commonly used on pineapples.
The study showed that heptachlor causes the loss of brain-cells, especially among heavy milk drinkers. Residues of heptachlor were found in 90 percent of brains compared to 63 percent of those who consumed no milk. Dairy products actually have a greater capacity to accumulate pesticides in higher concentrations; this is because of their fat content.
Milk products labeled “organic” or “no hormones added” still have high levels of these harmful antibiotics, which are naturally produced by cows (even if those cows have not been given any additional hormones for purposes of the product label).

Our immune system normally protects us from microbes and other harmful substances. But if it loses its ability to recognize and distinguish harmful substances from normal tissues and cells, it can instead mount attacks against our own bodies. Multiple large-scale studies have identified an association between cow’s milk consumption and increased prevalence of type 1 diabetes. One such study found that “cows’ milk may contain a triggering factor for the development of IDDM,” and another found that “[e]arly cow’s milk exposure may be an important determinant of subsequent type 1 diabetes and may increase the risk approximately 1.5 times.”

Name an animal that drinks the milk of another animal, period? Name another animal that drinks any milk past the age of 2? Where do the cow’s get their calcium? Start putting 2 and 2 together, or just stop drinking milk and you’ll lose weight. Beyond it being self explanatory that no other species on this earth drinks the milk of another species except humans and the fact that even when animals do drink milk they only consume it when they are babies, it’s quite easy to understand why milk single handily can cause a huge number of health issues for people. Stop listening to the TV or the medical doctor who can’t make anyone healthy. Ditch the milk and watch your health skyrocket.
